Welcome to PAWS-itive K9 Obedience Training where we believe in building strong, trusting relationships between dogs and their owners through Science Based Positive Reinforcement.
Whether you’re addressing basic obedience, or adding fun bonding experiences with your dog with trick training, we’re here to guide you every step of the way with patience, consistency and compassion.
My name is Karen and I have been working with dogs for more than 17 years. I became a dog trainer out of a deep love for dogs and passion for helping people understand them.
My training philosophy is based on science based positive reinforcement. Each training program prioritizes teaching owners how to clearly communicate with their dog to build a trusting relationship that lasts for the life of your dog. I believe every dog has the potential to learn, no matter their age or breed.
I specialize in basic and advanced obedience training. In addition, I enjoy working with dogs on advanced trick training and am certified to administer AKC CGC titles. I also work with dogs with disabilities, such as deaf dogs.
Every dog deserves a chance to thrive and every owner deserves support. My goal is to make learning fun for both dogs and their people.
